COLOR MAINTENANCE

Here are some tips to help maintain your hair color in-between appointments.

Wait at least 48hrs after a fresh color before shampooing.
Use a color safe shampoo that is sulfate and paraben free.
Use cooler water to shampoo. Using hot water opens up the cuticle allowing your color to wash out while shampooing.
Wash your hair less often. We recommend 2-3 times a week.
Always use a heat protectant when using hot tools and make sure the temp on your hot tools is not to high.

Use these tips in addition to the color maintenance tips.

Using the appropriate brush , brush hair thoroughly multiple times a day. Always keep a firm grip on the base of the extensions to prevent any unnecessary pulling.
Brush wefts individually.
After shampooing, on towel dry hair, liberally apply oil serum from mid to ends then apply your leave in conditioner and other products you like.
You can airdry your extensions but always make sure the top of the wefts are dry and never go to bed with them wet.
Wear your hair in a low braid at night.
